Welcome to RRR – Rent. Ride. Return. ("we", "our", or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website https://www.rrr.bike and our bike component rental services.

By using our website, creating an account, or renting any components from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

1.About RRR

RRR is a Isle of Man-based bike component rental service that allows cyclists to rent and try premium cycling components before purchasing. We operate under the company name RRR Ltd, registered in the Isle of Man.

2.Service Overview

Our Services Include:

  • Rental of premium bike components (handlebars, saddles, pedals, etc.)
  • Try-before-you-buy experiences
  • Expert recommendations and support
  • Optional purchase with rental fee deduction
  • Damage protection services

3.Rental Terms

Rental Periods:

  • Daily rentals: 24-hour periods
  • Weekly rentals: 7-day periods
  • Extended rentals available upon request
  • Late returns may incur additional charges

Eligibility:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid payment method required
  • UK/Ireland delivery addresses only (initially)
  • Account verification may be required

4.Pricing and Payment

Rental Fees: All rental prices are displayed clearly on our website and include VAT where applicable.

Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is placed as a hold on your payment method. This is not a charge and will be released upon safe return of the component.

Damage Protection: Optional damage protection is available for £5-15 depending on component value.

Purchase Option: If you choose to purchase a rented component, your rental fees will be deducted from the purchase price plus additional exclusive discounts.

5.Component Care and Damage Policy

Acceptable Wear:

  • Normal installation and removal marks
  • Minor scuffs from regular use
  • Dirt and grime from riding
  • Expected wear from proper bicycle use

Damage (Subject to Charges):

  • Cracks, breaks, or structural damage
  • Deep scratches or gouges
  • Modifications or alterations
  • Loss or theft of components
  • Damage from improper installation

6.Delivery and Returns

Delivery: We aim for next-day delivery within the UK. Delivery times may vary based on location and component availability.

Returns: Components must be returned in the provided packaging within the agreed rental period. Return shipping labels are provided.

Inspection: All returned components are inspected upon receipt. Any damage beyond normal wear will be assessed and charged accordingly.

7.Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation: You may cancel your rental up to 24 hours before the delivery date for a full refund.

Refunds: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.

Component Issues: If a component is defective or not as described, we will provide a full refund or replacement.

8.Liability and Insurance

Component Use: You use rented components at your own risk. We recommend professional installation and proper safety checks.

Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to the replacement cost of the component. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.

Your Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring components are suitable for your bike and riding style.

9.Prohibited Uses

  • Commercial or business use without prior agreement
  • Subletting or re-renting components
  • Racing or extreme sports (unless specifically approved)
  • Modification or alteration of components
  • Use beyond manufacturer specifications

10.Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is owned by RRR or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

11.Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

12.Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Isle of Man. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Isle of Man.
